Through the sewing and unsewing of polyester threads on canvas, the artist transforms the pictorial surface into a living body, traversed by tensions, layers, and movement.
Sewing builds, holds, and defines; unsewing, by contrast, releases the material, alters its order, and exposes threads, traces, and residues. The works are thus born from a process in constant balance between control and abandon, stability and transformation, stillness and unrest.
Color does not merely occupy the surface; it becomes a sensitive material capable of expanding into space and engaging the viewer in an experience that is both visual and tactile.
